Before...

Ok so Owen had the best hair (this picture isn't a very good one.) Everyone thought so except for Adam. He said Owen looked like a hippy! So he decided to cut it. I wasn't very happy. It would have been one thing if he did a good job but it wasn't so I had to go back and try to fix it which made it even shorter! He looks like a little German boy! But I guess hair can grow back, right! (scroll down to see the after pic!)

Center pieces...

We had a Garden Party for a Relief Society activity and they asked me to do the tables. SO of course I had ideas just swimming around for a few days and this is what I came up with. I had my mom send me a bunch of her hankies and I used those in the middle of the tables then I used different vases and filled with flowers and then I made these hanging things with beads, (you can see it the best in the first pic) I don't know what to call them but I put 3 in each vase and it just made the whole thing come together. Like the icing on the cake! A friend of mine said "it adds a little Nikki to it." I got lots of complements. It was fun to do. One lady said she has a wedding reception to do soon so she was walking around looking at all the tables to get ideas.

I don't know what to call this...

I saw this in a Jewelry store and I wanted to make it. So I did. Mine has more beads and is in silver and a little bigger. I'm actually thinking about using it above the babies crib. Its kinda hard to see in the picture but it's really cool, when the sun hits it there's rainbows everywhere in my room. It reminds me of the movie Pollyanna. There's a part where Pollyanna puts crystals all over this mean guys house to cheer him up and there's rainbows everywhere. I'll have to see if I can get a better picture of it.

Baseball time!

Well its that time of year where Riley plays baseball. I love watching Riley play baseball. Of course he's the best on the team again and that's not just coming from me. I know I'm his mom and that can be biased but he really is always one of the best ones on is teams. They played a team a few weeks ago and the coach on that team ended up being Riley's coach his first year of baseball. Well it was funny cuz every time Riley was up to bat that coach would say "Riley's up everyone back up, keep backing up." of course Adam loved hearing it. That same game Riley made a double play and that coach said he needs to be on the older kids teams not with all the young kids. Again Adam loved hearing this. They started kid pitch and again Riley was the best one at pitching so his coach put him 1st up to pitch, it was funny cuz Adam was just as nervous as Riley. He ended up striking out 5 kids and only 2 got to base and never made it home. So it was a fun game to watch.
Adams helps out so he's always by the kids and Owen likes to think he's helping too!

Paige again!!!

Every thing seems to happen to Paige. Well she decided to brush her own hair and this is what she used and what happened when she used it. We had to cut it out of her hair. Luckily you couldn't tell where we cut it but she never uses that comb for a brush again.

Too funny!!!

We had some friends over and Paige and Owen decided to crawl under the table and chairs well Paige got stuck. It was actually funny It took 2 people to get her out. Poor Paige we were laughing while she was crying.

So disappointing....

OK so I found out that Rachel Ashwell is closing the doors to her Shabby Chic stores. If you have even been in one you'll know why its so disappointing. I love Shabby Chic that is how my room and Paige's and soon to come Hollands room is decorated.

This is a picture of her Atlanta store. I'll find some more better pictures to up but walking through the whole store I was in awe! I love everything in there I wish I could buy her company from her and keep it going.

In her blog she said the line at Target will continue. Words from my mom "If you have anything Rachel Ashwell cherish it!" Which I have a lot so I will.

Here is a link to her blog for more reading about why shes closing her stores and better pictures! http://rachelashwellshabbychic.blogspot.com/
